Thorpe distributing was founded in 1962 by Ingram and Arlie Thorpe. Thorpe Distributing Company was later acquired by Jack Reis in 1988 and subsequently moved with the company’s growth to Medina, and eventually came to its home in Rogers in 2004. Originally a distributor of Anheuser-Busch beer, Thorpe evolved into a Total Beverage company. We now distribute Anheuser-Busch’s full range of products and a host of craft beer as well as specialty coffee, soda, water, and other drinks. Located northwest of the Twin Cities, our office in Rogers is filled with midwestern, Minnesotan values and focus on our neighbors.
Anheuser-Busch was founded by Adolphus Busch in 1852, and is still located in its hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. Their facility is open for brewery tours, which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. As a macrobrewery, Anheuser-Busch produces a wide range of well-known and well-loved beers, light beers, malt beverages, and more. They foster a strong connection with military families as well as broader responsibility initiatives such as responsible drinking, the environment, and community.
Our history with Craft Beer and other beverages is more recent. As the craft beer industry experiences continued growth, Thorpe Distributing is committed to growing with it. Local craft breweries are a unique and popular supplier. We are dedicated to keeping up with their progress and changes so our accounts can also participate in the world of craft beer.
